Our client develops enterprise-grade capital market and wealth management platforms including RMS, OMS, Trading, Wealth, PMS, AMC, AIF, Backoffice, Mobile and Digital Platforms. Our platforms support high-volume transaction processing, real-time market data distribution, multi-tenant deployments, and mission-critical financial workloads deployed across private cloud, on-premise data centers, and public cloud environments.

Requirement:

We are seeking a hands-on Platform Engineering Lead to build and operate the infrastructure platform powering 100+ customer deployments and supporting product engineering teams across the organization.

Role Mission

Design, standardize and operate the platform that enables reliable deployment, observability, scalability, and security of all products across customer environments.

The role combines Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Automation and Site Reliability practices.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Architecture

• Design and operate Kubernetes-based deployment platforms across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Define standard deployment architectures for customer installations.
• Build reusable deployment blueprints for RMS, OMS, Trading, Wealth, Backoffice and Middleware products.
• Drive platform standardization across 100+ client environments.

Infrastructure Automation

• Build Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks using Terraform and Ansible.
• Automate provisioning of Kubernetes, networking, storage, observability and security components.
• Create repeatable deployment models for private cloud and customer data centers.

Kubernetes Engineering

• Design and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage cluster lifecycle, upgrades, node management and capacity planning.
• Implement GitOps deployment models using ArgoCD or equivalent tooling.
• Optimize resource utilization, autoscaling and workload isolation.

CI/CD & Developer Platform

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting Golang, React, Flutter and backend services.
• Standardize build, release and deployment practices.
• Improve developer productivity through platform automation and self-service capabilities.

Observability Platform

• Build centralized observability frameworks using:
  • Prometheus
  • Grafana
  • Loki
  • OpenTelemetry
• Establish monitoring, alerting and operational dashboards.
• Enable application, infrastructure and platform visibility.

Reliability & Operations

• Define platform SLIs and SLOs.
• Lead incident management and root cause analysis.
• Drive resiliency improvements and platform hardening.
• Participate in DR planning and validation exercises.
