Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Head to lead the organization’s financial planning, reporting, compliance, treasury management, and business finance functions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial operations, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and stakeholder management, preferably within the NBFC or financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Develop and oversee annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.
• Drive profitability, cost optimization, and business growth initiatives.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and MIS reports.
• Manage statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements.

Treasury & Fund Management

• Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital requirements.
• Oversee banking relationships and funding activities.
• Monitor financial risks and implement appropriate control measures.

NBFC Regulatory Compliance (Preferred)

• Ensure compliance with RBI regulations and NBFC guidelines.
• Handle regulatory filings, inspections, and audits.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and assess their impact on the organization.

Risk Management & Internal Controls

• Establish and strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.
• Monitor financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, investors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Desired Profile:

• CA / MBA – Finance
• 8+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Compliance functions.
• Prior experience in NBFC, lending, fintech, or financial services industry will be highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in managing audits, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury operations.
