Position: Business Analyst

Location: Mumbai (Prabhadevi)

Education: B Tech in CS / MBA

Experience: 3 – 7 years

Salary: INR 8 – 14 LPA

 

Position Summary:

As a Business Analyst for the Trading Platform, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and documenting business requirements, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring the successful implementation and continuous improvement of the trading platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and operations teams, to deliver innovative and efficient solutions for our clients in the financial industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document business requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed and actionable requirements for the Trading Platform.
  • Conduct gap analysis: Identify gaps between existing system capabilities and desired business goals and propose suitable solutions to address them.
  • Develop functional specifications: Create clear and concise functional specifications, use cases, and user stories that capture business requirements and guide the development process.
  • Perform testing and quality assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop test plans, execute tests, and ensure the trading platform meets the defined requirements and quality standards.
  • Support implementation and user training: Assist in the deployment of new features and functionality, provide user training and support during the rollout phase, and address any issues or questions that arise.
  • Prepare product feature documents and user guides.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field with NISM certification A master’s degree or relevant certifications will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of financial markets: Familiarity with equity trading, derivatives, risk management, and market data concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented: Ability to pay attention to detail and ensure accuracy in documenting requirements and specifications.
