Position: Sr. Manager – Commercial

Location: Raipur & Gurgaon

Department: Commercial – Sales & Purchase

Salary: INR 10 – 12 LPA.

Experience: 4 – 5 years

Education: ICWA

 

Preferred: Responsible for developing and executing purchase strategies, tracking metrics to reduce expenses, negotiating deals, managing vendors and maintaining the sales and purchase process, identifying new potential markets and opportunities, increasing revenue, and ensuring that all sales and purchase-related tasks are completed on time.

 

Job Role:

  • Keeping abreast of market and industry trends and leading customer strategies.
  • Looking for new sales opportunities and improving the overall customer relationship, delivering reliable administrative support and customer service.
  • Experience in Marketing, and preferably exposure to food processing production with strong commercial/business acumen.
  • Responsible for building a network in Food processing and to develop and promote the company’s range of products.
  • To achieve sales target and market share in line with our business expansion plan and responsible for revenue generation and client retention.
  • Ensure clear requirements, forecast market trends, mitigate risks, and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ensure continuous identification & and development of new vendors and provide required backup documents/support for their registration with concerned Clients/Utilities by Project teams.
  • Responsible for procurement of materials at the most competitive rates i.e., below target rates and ensuring Supplier’s payments after taking all documents, required as per PO.
  • Prepare target prices and budgetary rates for procurement of food processing items.
  • Review of Financial Statement and deep understanding of costing.
  • Develop plans for streamlining procurement processes and support, Coordinate, and meetings for Business Development & Financial Transactions.

 

Key Result Areas:

  • Knowledge of Sales and Purchase | Business Development, Project Costing, and Financial Statement of Manufacturing sector and preferably exposure to FMCG sector.

 

Skills Required:

  • Negotiation skills, analytical skills, problem-solving, time management, team management, communication skills, and leadership with the ability to drive a team.
  • Expert in advanced Excel and understanding of costing.

 

About our client:

Our client is a diversified Group with interests in Coal Mining, Media Production, Development of Food Park and Power Generation amongst others. The position is for the Food Park based in Raipur, Chattisgarh.
