ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is an ISB+IIM alums founded start-up looking to disrupt the Global Cross-Border E-Commerce logistics space using technology. It is targeting the highly fragmented global logistics industry of which D2C brands are poised to become a significant portion in the next 5-10 years. They will use their in-house technology and data-driven tools to aggregate global logistics for brands helping them access high ARPU global markets which will help in reducing brands’ shipping costs by offering them the lowest cost options to ship across the world and reduce the overhead on the cross-border logistics paperwork.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability:

Primary responsibility is to work on your weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue and client targets and achieve it.

  • Identifying and researching on probable clients and building out a client list
  • Reaching out and meeting the probable clients and understanding their requirements
  • Working with operations team to create proposal for the client
  • Work with the client to close the deal
  • Ensure the requirements of the clients are communicated to the operations team
  • Work with the client and operations team in case of any delivery issues

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Graduation from a reputed institute with 2-4 years of overall sales and business development experience. MBA preferred.
  • Strong communication skills both written as well as oral preferred.
  • Past experience/ exposure of logistics (particularly global logistics firms) preferred
  • Experience with D2C sector preferred
  • Experience of Solution selling would be a plus (not mandatory)
  • Decent experience with MS PowerPoint preferred

Salary: Up to INR 12 – 15 Lacs
