Yes and No… it depends…

A Resume is all about “YOU”.

So ideally one should prepare the Resume oneself. If one has a clear understanding of one’s requirements, goals, aspirations and career path then he should be able to work out a decent Resume without any external help. A person is the best judge of one’s own personality, skills and expertise. So, if you are able to showcase in a good way then one can do it yourself otherwise reach out to a Professional Resume Writer.

However, at times an engagement with an external professional helps you identify aspects of your personality, career which you do not identify with under normal circumstances. It is tough for a professional to critically examine one’s own career path, achievements and shortcomings. There is a tendency to over inflate one’s Brand Value and Achievements.

An external professional and experienced Resume Writer will be a good sounding board to test one’s ideas and thoughts. The Resume Writer can hand-hold and help identify problem areas and their solutions whether be it behavioral or a requirement to up-skill. The gaps in one’s profile can be analysed and worked upon.

One can engage experts like us at Team Recruiters to hand-hold and deliver on quality services. The whole process gets a dedicated point of contact/sounding board that specialises in engaging for better output. We also offer a plethora of Recruitment support services which can be availed at any stage of your career. We at Team Recruiters believe in building long-lasting and value-added engagements.
